A light-reflecting cream, perfectly drawn brows… Our pamper guests didn’t need much today in our pop-up store to shine like true stars. Ingrid, Sandra, Will and Leen surrendered themselves to the skilled hands of make-up artist Katarina. Discover their before & after looks and soak up the atmosphere of our second pamper day for women going through chemo who want to glow despite cancer.
Before & After 1: gorgeous brows for Leen
Leen is in the middle of her chemo treatment and has now also lost her eyebrows. Our make-up artist brightens her complexion with a radiance-boosting foundation and softens the circles under her eyes with concealer. With gentle eyeshadow tones, she makes Leen’s beautiful blue eyes sparkle. But the wow-effect? Without a doubt the eyebrows she redraws with such ease. You’d need a trained eye to notice they’re not real! Leen feels her mood lift instantly and happily swaps her dark brown beanie for a chic chemo hat with a subtle aqua-green print. Perfect for making her eyes shine even more!

Before & After 2: Will gets a royal glow

Will has just finished her third round of chemo, but pampering herself is still a top priority. She’s already quite skilled at drawing her eyebrows herself. Our make-up artist shows her how to open her gaze even more and surprises Will with a subtle lipstick. Will makes funny smacking noises — she’s really not used to wearing lipstick :-) But she absolutely radiates like a queen, don’t you think?

Before & After 3: goodbye to Ingrid’s red cheeks

Ingrid walks into our pop-up with very rosy cheeks. Not from a brisk forest walk, but from the cortisone she’s taking during chemo. Our make-up artist applies a BB cream that neutralises the redness in her face. And because Ingrid was so shocked when she lost her eyebrows too, she gets plenty of extra tips on how to draw them beautifully. With her make-up on, Ingrid is buzzing with even more energy than half an hour earlier!

Before & After 4: Sandra starts chemo round 2 with a glow

Sandra has finished her first chemo session and already had her long hair cut short. Now she’s waiting for the first hairs to fall out. But Sandra is not someone who gives in easily. Together with her brand-new husband (congrats, by the way!), she spends almost the entire afternoon in our pop-up store. Our make-up artist shows her how to achieve an open, fresh look even without much mascara or a harsh eye pencil stroke. Sandra enjoys every second and stands in the front row to pick up all the tips given to the other pamper candidates as well. Good luck, Sandra!
