You may be losing your hair, but you’re not losing your sense of style. That’s one of our mottos at Rosette la Vedette. During cancer treatment you have to let go of so much control—your doctors and oncology coaches take over for a while. But there’s one area where you alone remain in charge: how you dress.

How you cover your head, which colors and prints you choose, how you combine your chemo hats and scarves… that’s all up to you. In the whirlwind of treatments, check-ups, and hospital visits, your headwear is often one of the few things you can still make fun and personal. Right now is the perfect time to give it more attention, spoil yourself with something new, and find fresh ways to combine your favorite outfits. Time to try four new spring trends—and shine!
Top trend 1: Blue

Move over black… here comes blue! The eternal black seems to be fading away this spring—and that’s not such a bad thing. Black can look harsh during chemotherapy. Luckily, stores are full of blue this season, from chic and timeless navy to bright and cheerful azure and turquoise. Perfect, because shades of blue work wonders for your face. They make your eyes sparkle and brighten even the dullest complexion.

Top trend 2: Pink

This spring, pink is a must. And luckily, there’s a flattering shade of pink for every skin tone. Are you a warm type? Coral shades will give you an instant boost.

More of a cool type with fair, rosy skin that burns easily? Go for pastel pink—but be careful, solid pastels can make you look even barer if you’ve lost your hair from chemo. That’s why we chose two colorful prints with pink accents to avoid that effect. Energy is young and bold, Happy is soft and romantic.
Top trend 3: Khaki

Khaki is set to be the new trend color this spring. Perfect—because green neutralizes redness, making it ideal if you struggle with flushed cheeks from cortisone during chemo. How to style it? With almost anything! Sand tones, blue, coral… khaki is as versatile as black but much softer on a pale complexion. We’re big fans (as you may have guessed!).
Top trend 4: Mustard yellow

Yellow is beautiful—if your skin tone allows it. Even with olive skin and green eyes, yellow close to your face can sometimes make you look washed out during chemo. Still in love with that yellow blouse you recently bought? Pair it with our new Liz chemo scarf in Morgana. The ochre yellow accents match your outfit, while the blue base color brightens your face and prevents that pale look. It also looks great with jeans—or with khaki, another top trend this season!
