And in the stores, I couldn’t find a single headscarf or hat that felt right — they were too old-fashioned, too complicated to put on, or unbearably itchy. I knew it could be better! Not just for myself, but for all the other women who lost their hair but not their sense of style. That’s why I created Rosette la Vedette, my very own collection of headwear."

I just started chemotherapy and have already shortened my long hear. It has not started to fall off yet. I do have 3 hats at the ready and that is why I’m reasonably comfortable about the dawning hair loss. The hats look good on me with hair, so they will look good on me without hair as well. They feel really soft, and they are neither too thin nor too thick. I have tried a wig before, but I was not comfortable in it. I was thinking, who am I kidding but myself? So I will continue wearing the hats.
