I was 34 when chemotherapy caused me to lose my hair. A wig wasn't for me. But what I found in the shops wasn't what I was looking for either. The hats felt old-fashioned. The fabrics were itchy. The scarves often seemed too complicated.
I knew it could be better. Not just for me. For all the other women who had lost their hair, but not their sense of style.
That's how Rosette la Vedette was born. What started as my own search for something better grew into a brand that now helps thousands of women. Not to become someone else. But to stay true to themselves.

When is the best time to buy a hat?
Many women choose their hat or scarf before their hair starts to fall out. That way, they can take their time, try different styles and find what feels most comfortable. And when those first hairs begin to fall out, everything is already in place. Waiting until then often creates extra stress at a time when there's already so much going on.
I'm not sure whether to choose a hat or a scarf. Which one is right for me?
It's completely normal to feel unsure. Many women don't know what will suit them best at first. And what feels right can change over time too.

Can I wear a hat at night?
For nighttime, we recommend a sleep cap that is specially designed for sleeping. These caps have fewer seams and folds, so they stay comfortable while you sleep. They can also be pulled down over your ears and neck to keep you warm and cosy throughout the night.
Are the scarves difficult to wear?
Not at all. Many women are surprised by how easy they are to wear. Our scarves are designed to be simple and comfortable, without complicated tying techniques. And if you'd like a little extra guidance, you'll find a short how-to video with every hat and scarf in our webshop.
Do you have products for people with alopecia too?
